"Aim High"

 

 

Dear Fellow Senators and Friends,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 Senate year! It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as your U.S.
JCI Senate National Vice President for Region IV. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have
placed in me, and I do not take this responsibility lightly.
I have been around the Senate for many years, watching as our organization has grown and
evolved. I have witnessed many changes—some challenging, some exciting—but one thing that
has never changed is my open-door policy. My door is always open to each of you, whether you
have a concern, an idea, or simply need someone to listen. I believe that leadership is about
accessibility, and I am committed to being present and available throughout this term.
I know I have some big shoes to fill. Those who came before me have set a high standard of
excellence, and I am humbled to follow in their footsteps. But with your help, your energy, and
your dedication, we can make this a year to remember. Together, we will rise to the challenge.
My theme this year is "Aim High." For those who know me, this theme comes from a deep and
personal place. I am a man of the United States Air Force, where I served in the Vietnam War.
The Air Force taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of reaching the stars. It taught
me that we are capable of so much more than we often believe. We are one region on a mission
with endless possibilities, and I want us to aim higher than we ever have before.
My favorite line in the Jaycee Creed is "that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty
of nations." This phrase means the world to me because it reminds us that our human
connection—the bond we share as people—is more important than any boundary or difference. It
is a call to unity, to compassion, and to see the best in one another. I want our region to work
together this year to show everyone that we are simply the best—because we are better than all
the rest.
I look forward to working closely with all my state presidents and fellow Senators. Your
leadership, your vision, and your passion inspire me every day. Together, we will build a region
that is stronger, more connected, and more impactful than ever before.
I also want to extend a special welcome to our new members and to those who are returning after
time away. You are the heart of this organization, and your presence makes us complete.

As we begin this journey together, I ask for your support, your ideas, and your prayers. Let us
communicate openly, collaborate generously, and celebrate every victory—big or small. Let us
aim high in everything we do, knowing that when we work together, there is no limit to what we
can achieve.
Thank you for the honor of serving you. Thank you for your friendship, your dedication, and
your faith in me. I am excited about the year ahead, and I cannot wait to see what we will
accomplish together.
Let us aim high, reach far, and make Region IV proud!
